“The love story that Ms. Black weaves between Annie and Jason is wonderful and their chemistry jumps right off the page …. The intimacy between Annie and Jason is hot.  He is in tune with her sexual wants and needs and seems to know exactly what she likes and doesn’t like.  She in turn, also seems to know him just as well intimately …. What can I say about Jason?  He is a hunk of masculinity, who genuinely cares about Annie and puts her needs first.  He has an air of mystery about him which keeps Annie intrigued, and he is totally supportive of her dreams and ambitions.  What more could a girl ask for?

“I really enjoyed An Unexpected Guest and definitely look forward to reading it again.  It is an entertaining book for people who enjoy the paranormal romance genre.  I love books that keep the reader guessing and unable to figure the plot out too early.  This book falls in that category.  Just when you think you have everything figured out and know how the story is going to end, something happens that leads you in another direction.

An Unexpected Guest should definitely be at the top of your reading list if you like your romances hot with a twist of paranormal mystery thrown in for good measure.”

Annie’s life is in crisis, and it’s time for a change.  She is determined to liberate herself from the grip of her arrogant boyfriend and overbearing mother. For the first time in her life, she is going to follow her dreams and do something she truly wants for herself. Her dreams lead her to a picturesque Bed and Breakfast by the ocean that is rumored to be haunted.  As she throws fear to the wind and opens up to life’s new possibilities, she meets Jason, whose long blond hair and cheeky attitude she cannot resist. Little does she know that there is more—or less—to Jason than meets the eye. Why does he seem so familiar? Has she met him in her past—or in her dreams? Why does he always seem to vanish when others appear? Can a man so perfect really exist, or is his existence all in her head and heart? Can the dead impersonate the living?

“I have been interested in folklore and ghost stories since I was a child,” says Elizabeth. “I got the idea for this book while visiting a haunted bed and breakfast many years ago. I had some unusual and thrilling experiences that color my writing vision to this day—and inspired An Unexpected Guest.”

Jason’s face nudged its way into her mind as she soaked. She could not concentrate on her novel or her family memories because her thoughts drifted back to him and his engaging smile. Who was he? Why had he had such an effect on her? What did he mean that it was very important that she buy this house?

She thought of his broad shoulders and wondered what it would be like to rest her head on them. Frank was a remnant of her past now, and she needed to move on. Who would take over her passion and love for life? Would it be Jason? Although she barely knew him, she felt as if she has known him all her life. Why was that? What did he mean to her? His long hair, blonde—so unlike the brunettes she normally preferred—fell down his back, begging for the touch of her hands.

As she soaked in the tub, she ran her hands over her breasts and belly, . . .
